Information we collect
Koh Samui Pointer uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-343R1M5K9X) to understand how the site is used: page views, browser type, and approximate location. We do not ask you to create an account. The contact form on the About page stays in your browser and is not sent to a server. If you want a reply, email hello@kohsamuipointer.com.
Affiliate links
This site contains affiliate links. Hotel links go through Agoda. Other travel links go through Travelpayouts programmes, which can include flights, transfers and activity partners such as Klook, plus Booking.com and Hotellook where those links appear. When you click, the destination site may set cookies to track the referral. We may earn a commission if you book. That does not change the price you pay. The full note is on the affiliate disclosure.
Cookies
Google Analytics 4 sets analytics cookies (including cookies named _ga) so we can count visits. Advertising storage is set to denied in the tag: we do not use GA4 to build ads profiles. Agoda and Travelpayouts, and the booking sites they send you to, may set their own cookies after you follow a link. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. The site still works if you do.
Your data rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to analytics processing. Email hello@kohsamuipointer.com with the request. We do not sell personal data. If you are in the UK or the EEA and you are not happy with the reply, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
