Mae Name Beach

Maenam Beach is a 4-kilometre stretch on Koh Samui's north coast, known for consistently calm and clear water — one of the best on the island for swimming regardless of season. The beach is darker-sanded than Chaweng but significantly less crowded, with a mix of budget guesthouses, the adults-only Explorar resort, and local restaurants along the road behind the beach. Fisherman's Village in Bophut is 10–15 minutes by Grab, making Maenam a good base for those who want beach peace without being completely isolated from dining and the Friday walking street.
